Arastradero is a great place to escape for a quick run or a hike. I run there regularly in the morning and the amount of wildlife that I see is incredible. There are always deer, rabbits, hawks, etc. There's nothing like it when the sun is just rising and the first rays light up the grass on the hillsides. It's amazing that just a few miles from Palo Alto you can feel like you're out in the wilderness.
