Hi. My name is Liz and I have brain cancer.

This blog acts as my personal journal/communication forum/cancer soap box. I like interacting with cancer survivors (if you're alive you're a survivor), caregivers, people in the medical community, and those who are just curious and wonder what this brain cancer business is all about.

Tumor type: Glioma Grade: II, Astrocytoma with gemistocytic properties
Age at diagnosis: 29
Surgeries: craniotomy 1 (September 2008), and craniotomy 2.0 (February 2009)
Treatment: Temodar (chemotherapy), 270mg, 5 days on, 23 days off
Anti-nausea meds: Emend, Kytril
Anti-seizure meds: Keppra, Depakote, Ativan
Status: Will be in treatment for at least two years
