I have been suffering with arthritis in my big toe joint for quite some time and have now been told I need to have an implant.  After doing some research about the procedure and other people's comments I am rather nervous about having it done.  I would like some feedback from other's in a similar situation before I decide to go ahead.  I am quite an active person and like to go walking and have a large vegetable garden which I really enjoy working in.
