I watched over Mom and Dad for many years as their health and memories began to fail. In 2005, they moved in with us. In December of last year, they moved into assisted living. In May of this year, Dad passed away. During all of this, I developed high blood pressure and high cholesterol, had occasional episodes of lone atrial fibrillation, and was diagnosed with CLL (chronic lymphocytic leukemia).
