@jenahearn The way you cook, my dear, I doubt it will occur to them to complain. Happy tofu basting! 17 days ago
@DancerXavier Not to worry, I've never seen that word before, ever, and they let me talk to real live patients! (Also: good luck!) 17 days ago

Snore

Posted Apr 09 2009 7:15pm

I miss sleeping. I remember that I used to sometimes have trouble with it, back in the day before the Turnip, but this entire year feels like sleep has been my reward for making through the day. I haven't had trouble falling or staying asleep in months. (Quite the opposite, of course.) But in the last week, my talent for being able to sleep through the night has slowly left me and now my busy vacation is draped in a sleepy fog.

It started with my hips feeling all wonky, making it impossible to get comfortable. Then it evolved to my back. Next came a little indigestion when I would lie down, which has become projectile vomiting anytime my torso is at an angle less than 45 degrees. So that leaves me sitting straight up in bed with my legs in all kinds of odd positions to keep them from tightening up and basically staring at the ceiling. Who sleeps sitting up? Apparently, not me.

And still no progress on the crib front. Unless you count looking at 400 cribs and not liking any of them "progress".
