Today early in the morning 16/1 our pharmacist arrived with a load of i.v. fluids and other vital medical items, but unfortunately no spinals. We still have enough halothane to give general anesthesia, but for many cases that is unnecessary and time consuming.

After soaking in warm water with soap it looks much better. There is actually no wound infection, but rather neglected superficial eczema.
One may be upset and wonder why the patient hasn’t cleaned the leg daily with soap and water. But when you realize that his mother or sister might have to walk several kilometers to fetch water they tend to be restrictive with the use of it.
We have many patients referred from clinics and other hospitals. Sometimes you can’t help smiling when reading.
I have heard about “hot pants” and “hot chicks”, but never a “hot vagina”. Maybe I missed something in my youth?
