It was a year of drought last year and at the moment it is raining torrentially in Queensland with serious flash floods. I have family in Gympie and knowing the river, it must have risen to 14meters to have swamped the bridge. Fortunately in Victoria there are no floods but despite all mans technology the power of nature is amazing.
