Hi, my name is Renie (nickname for Irene) and I need motivation to keep me walking. I am a diabetic and started going to a certified diabetic management class and boy did it wake me up. I started my 1600 calorie diet on July 10 and have lost 19 pounds to date. It has been a struggle, but I want to live the next stage of my life happier and healthier than I am today. My glucose numbers have dropped and I am grateful for that. I also walk 4 times per week with members at my church and I go to Zumba 2 times per week. I need all the help I can get to forge ahead with my goals.
