Bio

Linda Fisher, Sedalia, MO, is the author and editor of Alzheimer’s Anthology of Unconditional Love. Proceeds from the book are donated to the Alzheimer’s Association. She speaks to Alzheimer’s groups, support groups, civic organizations, and writing groups.

 

Her book Early Onset Blog: Essays from an Online Journal was released in 2009. Her current book project is Rocks and Pebbles: Journey from Therapeutic Writing to Publication. She has been published in several anthologies including Echoes of the Ozarks, Well Versed, A Cup of Comfort for Loved Ones of People with Alzheimer’s and Chicken Soup for the Soul: What I Learned from the Cat (9/22/2009).  Linda has won awards and prizes for her stories and essays.

 

Linda became an Alzheimer’s Association volunteer and advocate when her husband developed dementia at age 49. She has been recognized for her Alzheimer’s advocacy on state and national levels.
