I was bulimic.  Then I almost died because the fork I was using to purge got caught in my throat and had to be surgically removed from my stomach.

I have some knee problems and am getting physiotherapy.  I want to be able to run again but for now I'm just sticking to the strengthening exercises for my knees and a mixture of yoga and low-impact cardio.

I follow the Canadian food guide which is:

6 GRAIN SERVINGS
7 FRUIT AND VEGETABLE SERVINGS
2 MEAT AND ALTERNATIVE SERVINGS
2 MILK AND ALTERNATIVE SERVINGS
2 FAT SERVINGS

 GOALS:

At least 3 whole grain servings a day.  At least 4 vegetable servings a day (and at least one orange and one green).  I try to choose nuts, seeds, and beans most often and fish, poultry, and eggs over red meat.  I always buy fat-free dairy.  Lastly, I try to use extra-virgin olive oil over processed dressings and condiments.

It doesn't always happen, but I promise to do the best that I can do every day so I don't swallow any more cutlery.
