I'm a father of 4, husband to an amazing woman, and an endurance enthusiast.
In 1995 I ran the Chicago Marathon and then basically stopped exercising and gained a lot of weight. In late 2007, I began a slow journey back to fitness. In fits and starts, I tried a variety of things, but never was motivated to keep it up. Since January 2010, I have been consistently running and cycling, usually 6 days a week. I feel better and, while not above the occasional backslide, am feeling the best I have in years! As I exercise more, I also hope to improve my nutrition, drop some weight, and thus, improve my results. I write a blog, , which consists of my experiences in family, food, work, training, gear, and books. I hope you'll visit and leave a comment for me.
