I have a severe kidney infection for 4 days, fever uo to 39.5, blood and proteins in the urine, pain in both kidneys. I have kidney stones in one kidney only, but kidney stones do not seem to be the case this time. Antibiotic I was admistered ( by IV) does not seem to do anything to improve my condition.Whaat choice of other antibiotics I have to treat this condition? I am allergic to cypro snd sulpha drugs dne penicilin base antibiotics do not seem to make any difference.
