low potassium levels and elevated liver enzymes?

my dad has elevated liver enzymes and his potassium level is at a 2 hes had lots of potassium with ivy fliuds given but it his level of potassium wont stay up he is urinating allot and getting rid of the potassium. he also suffers chf.
