On 8-09 I had a CT scan of the abdomen and pelvis. On 3-10 I had a MRI of the thoracic spine. The CT showed a 6 mm hypodensity on the posterior mid pole of the left kidney. The MRI revealed a 1.7 cm well circumscribed lesion of the left kidney, most compatible with a simple renal cyst. My mom has Mesangial Proliferative Glomerulonephritis, but her kidney ultrasound came back fine. She is from consanguineous Lebansese descent and her aunt was a dialysis patient.
