Cait and Lucy dump out a warm one as I dive back in to scoop up another 25 cans. Loser’s Kool Aid in this instance.
I bought a house 1 mile from the take out of this section one year ago. Barton to Carver gets LA freeway busy when it’s above 90 degrees. Parking is obtrusive, law enforcement is busy, yet this is all acceptable if folks don’t trash the river. Historically, folks would sink their empties in the river to eliminate evidence of over consumption. An ordinance was recently passed that prohibits alcohol in boats and parks of access. Hopefully that helps. Hopefully.
Stop 1. Trash hunt.
Gettin after it.
The crew from Team Quest submits the trash.
ORT got involved earlier this summer removing guard rails out of the Upper Clackamas.
The unload. Look at all that trash from 3 miles of river! Zoiks-
We were glad and blessed that we could help out:)
Thanks to all of the great event coordination, and the tremendous supporters of ORT. ”Nobody in the World Does ALL the Things We Do”.
