YES, you’ll be happy to know I made it back. . Wait, no, you’ll be happy to know I had a nice long shower!!! Symposiums make one smelly!! It’s got me doubting that symposiums are a good place for single kayakers to “hook up”. LOL!!

Anyway, we’ll have a bunch of post coming in the next day or so. . . But first, when I got home and checked all my mail, both e and snail, I found all sorts of interesting things. . .

1. I got a flier from the Kayak Centre of Rhode Island. . Do I know someone there? Oh well, if not, like I said, “We’re all in this together” so check out their website at kayakcentre.com if you’re in their area.

2. Ok, You may remember that last year I had to go back and get my 3* award from the BCU to move on to Coach training. Yes, I had the 4*, but you need the 3 as well. . So one thing the ACA and BCU have in common . . . . reaction time. LOL! I got my 3* cert over the weekend!! And, my patch!!!

3. In my email I got a note from Goran Pehrson of Skim Kayaks. We are getting Skim boats in Wisconsin!!! Yep, Soon we will get to demo their “Distance” and “Dex” kayaks right here. Thanks of course to Darren at Rutabaga as well! I’m looking forward to trying them out. I’ll let you know how that goes. Oh, and as a side note Both kayaks are being reviewed in Seakayaker Magazine. This issue has the Distance review.

4. Then there was the email from RMB of China. . They make very low priced Neoprene gear. Thanks for the email. . For what it’s worth us Americans are a bit wary of emails like this. We tend to like more descriptive content. . .

So that’s it for the mail bag. . Later today we’ll get back to a round up of the weekend. . .
