One day I was out on the ocean, somewhat early in my paddling life. The waves were big, the sky dark and the water cold and black. It was a stormy, windy, rainy, day. Conditions were going down but not desperate by any means. Out of the blue I had a thought blast through my head like sudden explosion; I just couldn’t “quit”!
