My name is Kara Herron. I was diagnosed with breast cancer in August of 2008. I have been actively fighting this disease for 1 year. I had a bi-lateral mastectomy in October of 2008, 5 months of chemo, and reconstructive surgery in May 2009. The cancer is gone, but the "side effects"... Full Bio
