Bio

Juliana grew up in Brazil and moved to the United States in 1999. She has a Bachelor Degree of Science of Law and is Certified by Boston University as a Medical interpreter of Portuguese-English. Juliana is a graduate of The Palmer Institute of Massage and Bodywork in Salem, Massachusetts. The focus of her practice includes Swedish and Deep Tissue massage, Hot Stone, Reflexology and Thai Yoga Massage. Juliana embarked on her path to becoming a massage therapist, which has enabled her to share with others its healing and vitalizing power. The effect of massage was subtle, yet profound, and gave Juliana insight and focus, and a sense of possibility. It made her a true believer in the benefits of massage. Juliana has personally experienced many bodywork modalities, including Rolfing (Structural Integration), Thai Yoga Massage, acupuncture and energy healing. She is a lover of the books and quiet environments where the suave music brings about consciousness of the present moment - now. Working with clients, Juliana relies on subtle body cues and careful listening to tailor the massage experience to their unique preferences and needs. She employs a range of techniques from gentle effleurage to intense, deep tissue work. Juliana welcomes and enjoys working with people for whom massage is a new experience. Juliana is happiest when her clients leave feeling deeply relaxed and somehow changed with a new sense of possibility.
