My name is Julia Schopick, and I am a medical/health advocate, who is committed to helping people change the ways in which they relate to our medical system. My commitment stems from the years I spent as wife to my wonderful late husband, Tim Fisher, who was diagnosed with a cancerous brain tumor in 1990. (He died in 2005.)Together, we experienced our medical system at its technological best and its chaotic, uncaring worst. I created www.HonestMedicine.com, in honor and memory of Tim -- my inspiration from the day we met nearly 30 years ago.
