Gallbladder polyps typically do not cause symptoms and are often found incidentally during gallbladder removal or by imaging studies done for other reasons. In rare cases in which they do, the clinical symptoms may resemble that of gallstone pain.

For polyps to cause pancreatitis would be extremely rare, but not impossible. It is more likely that you may actually have gallstones in addition to gallbladder polyps, or the gallstones may be confused for polyps.
