Health knowledge made personal
Height: 5’ 9”
Weight: 325 lbs.
I am a big guy, trying to lose weight gained by a major knee surgery and many years of bad nutritional choices.
I'm starting to make better food choices and I'm exercising daily again. I would love feedback on my program and any tips that any of you would have to improve my program to get me more out of each workout.
I work full time at a local health plan and I see the staggering rate of obesity related health conditions and I know that if I don't change myself, I am heading towards a lot of that myself.
I coach badminton during the spring at Skyline College in San Bruno and I try to play year round and local open gyms. I am an avid bowler and I love to teach people how to bowl also. My first sporting love is basketball, but as that is the way that I hurt my knee originally, I only play recreationally now.
Most of all, I just want to get healthy, but I'm realistic. It took me 6 years to pile the weight on, I can't try to lose it all in one year. I look forward to posting my journey on wellsphere and I can't wait to see what everyone else is posting.
Thanks for stopping by!
