Can a MRI be preformed of a knee if one knee has been replaced?

Posted by scooter22

I have had my right knee in 2007, I now I need to have an MRI of my left knee. Can I have an MRI be done with the replaced knee?  My concern is that the replacement material on the right knee could interfere, and I don't want to hurt myself any more.
