I am 58 and grew up in the 50's before eating lead paint was a bad thing. We also used to break glass thermomoters to play with that cool mercury inside. Who knew? I had about every disease available except polio. like measles, mumps (real bad) Reumatic fever, etc. At sevral points I was put in cold water or ice to control a 106 temperature. I had an appendectomy at age 5 in 1956, and they tell me I about died from that. When I wasn't sick, I had a dad that loved to beat me with a belt. Had a real hoot of a childhood, let me tell you. Now I suffer constant back pain from what a chiropractor told me and explained xrays, one leg is shorter, causing my pelvis to tilt. I have a limp I have always had but never knew why. He also said that as the back tried to re-center my weight, I now have curves going all directions. The skull does not sit straight on the spine. Even i could see that on the xray. I just want to know if this is common, or even makes sense to someone smarter than me.
