Hey all, I came across this community long ago while trying to find some answers and hoped that maybe someone here could help me. I have (actually, had) Anxiety and Panic Disorder. For years, well since I was a teen, I have suffered from anxiety/panic attacks.

After I had my first panic or anxiety attack (not sure which) and for about a month after that I had anxiety when I wasn't in control of situations like riding in a car with someone else for a long period of time, or going to the movies. Over the next couple of weeks I started having this happen again...

I got little periods of being able to go out more, and then something happens and it's so hard to even step outside of my door. I had a hard time getting out of bed to face the world. I felt like hiding out, locking the doors, shut off the phone and close the curtains... It's just scary though.

I knew with panic attacks you can't breathe, but I didn't know you get tingling and numbness and stuff like that. It was scary because it took about a month and a half to figure out what was truly the problem.

But, it faded with time and focusing on work, losing weight, watching what I am eating and exercising every day really helped. I'm really happy that I way able to get rid of my anxiety and panic attacks without medications, using only natural

I took a lot of work and discipline. First step was to to understand what caused panic attacks, and try to avoid that if possible. Then learned how to "control" them to a certain extent.

Proper breathing exercises (the best!), meditation or yoga really help. Regular exercising (running) helped me quite a lot!

I'm so glad it's over now!!!I hope my life can completely go back to normal.

What were some of your experiences with panic attacks? I'd be interested to hear your stories!
