Bio

I was diagnosed with Polycystic Kidney Disease in 1997, started dialysis in August 2007, and had a cadaveric kidney transplant May 3, 2008. I have also had gastric bypass surgery in 2002, and was diagnosed with Charcot Marie Tooth disease, a form of Muscular Dystrophy, as a child. I'm married, have a teen-aged son, and we have several dogs. I enjoy reading, anything with computers, listening to music (especially Celtic Rock), and working in my yard. I'm a Registered Nurse in a large Pediatric clinic, and have been licensed since 1989.
