My husband was diagnosed with Crohn's Disease almost 5 years ago. Unfortunately that wasn't the only disease he would be diagnosed with. About a year and half later he was diagnosed with an inflammatory arthritis called Spondyloarthropathy, which is a side effect of the Crohn's Disease. As if that wasn't enough, a few months later it was discovered that he has a liver disease called Primary Sclerosing Cholangitis. Only about 2% of people with Crohn's Disease develop PSC. We have gone to the Mayo Clinic in Rochester Minnesota to see a specialist whom deals with PSC. This has been a lot to handle for us, but it has brought the two of us much closer. I try to blog about the diseases from a more personal standpoint, but also try to include as much information as I can. I really try not to hold too much back.
