Non-itchy, red spots on upper body and back.

over the last 2-3 weeks, i have found an increasing number of small bright red, slightly raised yet non-itchy spots on my abdomen, chest and back.  The oldest ones are just as bright as the new ones and the same size.  I also have some unusual and unexplainable bruising in my under arm area.  Is this something I should be concerned about?
