There was loads of excitement in Nata over the weekend over the visit of the Vice President of Botswana, Ian Seretse Khama.   Mr. Khama along with the Minister of Parliament for our region, Mr. Mfa Oliphant, gave speaches at our soccer field and gave soccer balls to the youth.   Mr. Khama attended a fund raising dinner in the evening and Mabogo Arts and Culture Productions were part of the entertainment.  Mr. Khama charmed the audience with his sense of humor and easy-going manner. Also present was the Minister of Presidential Affairs and former Attorney General Mr. Skelemani along with his wife.    Our Board Chairman, Mr. Tiro was the Master of Ceremony at both events and asked Melody to say a few words about the website and to introduce Mabogo.   It was a fantastic opportunity to educate the community about our efforts.  Radio Botswana approached our team and has interests in doing a story about us on national radio.   Mabogo used their new sound equipment and it was great that everyone in attendance could see the results of our efforts.  Thank you all for the part you played in it!
