Pictured above (on the left) is Peace Corps volunteer Pedro Martinez along with Mr. Kgosi (one of the Nata clinic ambulance drivers). When Pedro heard about the Nata website he was very excited and wanted to become a part of it. Pedro was raised in the greater Los Angeles area of Southern California and being a Peace Corps volunteer has been a lifelong dream. Melody will be leaving Nata at the end of next week and Pedro will be taking over the responsibilities of blogging and advising the board members of the Nata AIDS and Orphans Trust. Pedro has lots of plans and wants to work extensively with the Nata youth and orphans. We are very happy to have Pedro in Nata and wish him a successful two years in the village.
