Hung at Rush Arts: featuring VA artists and friends

Hungzinepapers will launch the second issue of HUNG at Rush Arts on Friday, October 5 from 7-9pm.

Featuring contributions by: Bruce Benderson, Nayland Blake, Ricardo Bracho, Jordan Buschur, Peter Cramer, Alex Donis, Ricardo Francis, Leor Grady, Antony Hegarty, Akasha S. Hodge, Craig Houser, Derek Jackson, Kalup Linzy, Thom Markee, Andrew McCarthy, Curu Necos-Bloice, Lorraine O’Grady, Rick Perry, Quest, Francisco Ramirez, Lance Robertson, Dirk Rowntree, Elmer Shelton, James Spooner, Sur Rodney (Sur), Boris Torres, Jack Waters, Frederick Weston and Visual AIDS.

The 1995 surreal erotic video classic, Percodan & Wisdom, based on a poem by Sur Rodney (Sur), directed and edited by Naked Eye Cinema’s Jack Waters, will be screened for the first time in more than a decade.

The Summer/Fall issue of HUNG, along with a limited number of the inaugural issues (reserved for the occasion) will be available.

Refreshments will be served.
Ambiance will be fierce.
Music will be provided by Bill Coleman.
