Final Day, month of youth against AIDS Part 6

Unfortunately, the day ended on a bad note.  People were unhappy over the conduct of the players and the referee.  Thank goodness that Chief Makgesi was there to calm the crowd as fights were breaking out.  There was so much dispute over the game that the prize money of P300 for 1st place and P150 for second place was not awarded.  The leaders of the team will meet on Monday and discuss it with the chief.  Many of the leaders in attendance said we should use this as an opportunity to discuss sportsmanship and conduct of the crowd at our next Kgotla meeting (community meeting).  Despite the bad behavior of some of our villagers, the month of youth against AIDS met its objectives.  Mr. James worked very hard to educate the villagers and should be congratulated on a job well done.  We arent proud of what happened but this website will not look at our village with rose colored glasses. We will show you at our best, and at our worst.
