Although I don't make it to the south bay all that often, I decided to try out Black Mountain due to the length of the hike: over 9 miles round trip! I thought it would be a good challenge and a fun day trip. It was! Beautiful views, not too strenuous, yet enough to get your heart pumping. Try it out!
