I have a question about cirrhosis. My husand was diagnosed with cirrhosis a little iver a year ago when he was admitted to the hospital with fluid in his stomach. They had to drain 2 gallons of liguid from him and the dr's gave him 1-2 years unless he stopped drinking. Well here we are, he didn't stop drinking and his legs and feet are swollen and filling with fluid, I can see the spider viens on his legs and he is turing yellow. He refuses to go to the Dr are get any help and continues to drink. Can someone give me and idea of how much longer he will live????
Have you thought about getting him medically commited? might be his only chance!
