I have an inflamed liver. What does that mean?

Posted by Freebyrd69

I was treated for Hepatitis C from May 1998 until April 1999 with Interferon. The treatment was successful. My ALT's were in normal range after three months of treatment; however, I took the MD's advice and took the full year of treatment. Of course, I had Hepatitis C for many years before a blood test revealed that I had it and I had fibrosis in my liver. I have bi-yearly ultra-sounds on my liver and blood test to make sure the Hepititis C is in remission, which it is at this time. My last blood work showed that my liver is inflamed. I do have Fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue syndrome, chronic pain, lumbar stenosis, cervical spine stenosis, and depression, therefore, I am on quite a bit of pain medications and other medications daily. Could the medications be the cause of my liver inflammation. I also have high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and high blood sugar.
