Hep C and Blood Transfusions

Posted by Paulette

It discuss me to see an article on this site suggesting that Hep C is a junkies disease as written on this site under causes.  I contacted Hep C by a blood transfusion right here in the USA before 1990 when they started screening the blood.

The article is in the Hep C site under causes.

SUGGESTING THAT IT IS CONTACTED BY BLOOD TRANSFUSIONS RECIEVED ABROAD

NO WONDER WE DON'T HAVE FOUDATIONS TO RAISE MONEY FOR A CURE FOR THIS DISEASE.

What about all the nurses and docters that have this horrible disease??????

From needle sticks..........................

chronic hepatit can occur with Hep C infection. Chronic infection follows acute hepatitis in50-70% CASES. CIRRHOSIS and HEPATOCELLULAR CARCINOMA are the major complications as duration of disease increases
