If there was a "natural, safe way" to kill the hepatitis C virus don't you think everyone would be doing it? So far, the only way to kill the hepatitis C virus is with interferon and an antiviral - usually Ribavirin. Soon there will be another med (protease inhibitor) to add to the interferon and Riba that will increase your chances of killing the virus (perhaps late 2010 or early 2011). There are things that will slow the progression - stop drinking, smoking, doing drugs, start exercising, eating healthier and things that "might" slow the progression - take milk thistle and a few other herbs for the liver but just realize they won't kill the virus. I know people that have spent hundreds of thousands of $$, some for as long as 10-15 years and not one has ever cleared their hep C. It can't be done with just herbs (or again - we would all be doing it!)
Anyone who says they have cleared their hepatitis C with herbs is a "snakeoil salesman" out to grab your dollars and give you false hope. Be very careful, ask a lot of questions, talk to your doctor and do your research. Most of the "snakeoil salesman" I have met - either cleared the hep C virus on their own (30% of people will do that!) or are just plain lying about ever having hep C. Tread carefully and don't believe everything you stumble across on the internet.

Has anyone had success with holistic treatment of Hep C, or do you know anyone who has? I was diagnosed with Hep C June 08. I have been in a fog ever since. I know how I could have gotton it but I don't know how I got it. I know how long I may have had it but I don't know how long I've had it. I want to get rid of it but I don't want to take the drugs. After many years of not taking care of my body, I now want to do what is best for it. If there is a natural, safe method available that may work, I want to go that route before I attack myself more with drugs.
