I'm a heart attack survivor and a 2008 graduate of the WomenHeart Science & Leadership Symposium for Women With Heart Disease at the world-famous Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. I was also named a 2009 'Women's Health Hero' by 'Our Bodies, Ourselves' of Boston - one of 20 inductees from seven countries acknowledged for women's health activism. I launched my blog HEART SISTERS, all about women and heart disease - our #1 killer.
