I have had bradycardia most of my life. However, recently, I have developed Chest Pain, SOB, fatigue and debilitating dizziness. I have had an echo, cardiac cath, sleep study and 10 day monitor study. The unfortunate problem with these studies has been that the alarm on the monitors has been set to 40 bpm. At that point I am awakened. We do not know how low the heart rate goes. So far, all of the studies have been normal, (with the exception of already known sleep apnea for which I use a CPAP). What other conditions might explain these symptoms? I am 48.
