"Heart swelling" is not a generally accepted terminology, so I'm not sure what you're looking for. There are many reasons a heart gets bigger (e.g. heart attacks and alcohol), but in general it means the heart is injured. The treatment is usually dual-pronged: 1) removing the offending agents and 2) using medications such as diuretics, beta-blockers, and ace-inhibitors.
