Welcome to the Atrial Fibrillation Blog, sponsored by StopAfib.org.

This blog is for talking about living with atrial fibrillation (afib) and ways to deal with it. If your heart has ever felt like a flopping fish, a bag of wiggly worms, or fluttering butterflies, you may have atrial fibrillation, the most common irregular heartbeat. You can find out more about how to tell at StopAfib.org.

If you or a loved one suffers from atrial fibrillation, please join us on a journey of exploration to help us wipe out afib.

The medical books all say the same they can find no reason for the rapid increase in Atrial Fibrillation. Yet much research has shown that since Aspartan was put in our drinks & food in the 1980's There has been a hugh growth in Atrial Fibrillation.
Young people can be affected by lone or primary Atrial Fibrillation, which presents no identifiable cause.Atrial Fibrillation causes more than 70,000 strokes each year in the United States, and every year more than 160,000 new cases are diagnosed. Most new cases are the young. I had it after years of taking artificial sweetner and Aspartan in my drinks. I had a lot of attacks in my late 30's but after been advisd by a freind about Aspartan I stopped and a month latter I never ever had an other attack. I have advised loads of people who had attacks and  the sympthoms stopped soon after they stoped taking the Aspartan.
