i went to the emergency room becaue my feet and hands and legs and stomach are seriously swollen to the point of them causing pain. A chest x- ray was taken i was given a shot of Lasix and a urine sample was obtained.
Diagnosis was lower left lobe pneumonia with out a sputum check or even listening to my chest. diagnosis was made solely by the x-ray alone, my ankles are still swollen and so is my stomach and legs. i was perscribed Lasix, Cipro, Medrol and phenegren. Will this help the swelling in my ankles and exactly what are the signs of CHF because Doctor Amporful here in Adel georgia THINKS ( his words) that i don't have CHF, he sent me home knowing that my prescriptions wouldn't be able to be filled for a week due to the lack of CASH ( i have no insurance). Am i in any danger from this supposed pneumonia and does this pneumonia cause ankle , hands, stomach and leg swelling with shortness of breath???
