hi.. I am 39 yrs male... perfectly healthy... in feb 2010 I got anxiety attack after dismisel of my father....investigations shown 4.5 mm vsd (Sub pulmonic). I was on antidepresent drugs from April to may 2010 (2 months) for treatment of Anxiety attacks. Till that time i was having only fast pulse rates... but thereafter i started experiencing pulpitations which later identified as Ventricular Ectopics, with remarks NO Ventriculat tachycardia, Intermitted sinus tachycardia. The holter found frequency as 970 ectopics in 24 Hours.
Doctor says, need not to worry... it happens & prescribed betablockers.
Now i am on betablockers (Bis prolol fumerate 5 mg) for last one month. The ectopics are very low now & happens only after having heavy meal or after some physical exercises.
I want to know
How long it may take to get rid of this problem?
Do I need to take medicines life long?
Can I do excessive cardiovascular excercises?
Is it perfey curable?
I still sometimes feel anxitious after stess.. do they indicate some heart problem
