Overtraining? Me?

My personal trainer tells me I'm overdoing it with the cardio. Here's what I did this week:

Saturday -- no exercise. Sucked.
Sunday -- Spinning class 1 hr, then ran one mile on treadmill
Monday -- Weights and intermittent bursts of cardio with trainer for 1 hr, then 30 min spinning, and ran 1 mile on treadmill
Tuesday -- Ran 3 miles on treadmill
Wednesday -- Swimming for an hour and a half
Thursday -- Ran 2 miles (slowly, felt crappy) then spun on bike trainer for 20 minutes
Friday -- Weights with trainer

He told me not to do any cardio this weekend. I can't do it. I'll feel like crap if I take 2 days off. So I told him I'm going to run tomorrow and take Sunday off. To compromise, I'll wait until tomorrow late afternoon to run.

It is said that there comes a point that as you do more cardio exercise that you burn more than you take in. I haven't gotten there, as my weight hasn't budged. Frustrating. Common sense says eat less and exercise less. I hate common sense.
