My husband is 64 years old. He is not overweight and up until 5 weeks ago was quite active, even though he was retired.

Five weeks ago my husband had a major heart attack.  We finally convinced him to get it checked out that evening (his symptoms started around 10: a.m.).  After

checking him out, ( he had 100% blockage in the right artery) they transported him to a major heart hospital, and inserted two stents.  Later because of poor blood pressure they inserted a balloon pump and temporary pacemaker.  After that he made excellent progress and was released

within four days.  Since then he has no symptoms and has changed his diet, taken his medications, and walked.  He is supposed to have an echogram on Wednesday.  What are his chances for a complete recovery and a normal, long life?
