Ischaemic heart disease is a disease characterized by reduced blood supply of the heart muscle.  This is normally caused by coronary artery disease.  PCI stands for Percutaneous Coronary Intervention.  PCI is one therapeutic procedure used to treat the narrowed coronary arteries of the heart which is found in coronary heart disease.
