I just learned I have a left Atrium Myxoma Tumor and want to research all my options. The cardiologist suggests open heart surgery but I don't relish the thought of this procedure. I just want to know that surgery is the best and possibly only option I have before moving toward that procedure. I am soon to be 69 and want to enjoy my spouse, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren for many more years. The size of the tumor was mentioned as approximately 4 centimeters with a stem.
