I am on blood pressure medication, but have noticed my pressure runs in the hypertension to pre-hypertension. I have been experiencing for several months now, sharp pains in the front of my neck (where you would check pulse). These episodes last several days to a couple of weeks of a shooting pain. Should I be concerned?
