How far the stem cell research has gone for treatment of DCM

My daughter is suffering from DCM & was diagonesed in March 2006. She is having LVEF 20% since than. She is undertreatment of Dr Upendra Kaul of Fortis Hospital, Delhi and with his treatment the condition is stable since than. She is able to do normal house wife's work but can not exert much & walk up stream. She is living in Ajmer, Rajasthan.
I understand research is going on for treatment with stem cell and in India your honour has also done research on it. I shall be obeliged if you can Guide me & brief me how far it has gone and has it been sucessful ? If need be I can send her reports for your study & guidance.
