I’m back at work after a fantastic week and a half at the coast. Being away from the daily grind makes you realise how much stress, etc that we subject ourselves to on a daily basis.
Getting up in the morning and strolling down to the beach with the most pressing thought on one’s mind being what kind of sandwich you’re going to have for lunch has got to be good for one’s blood pressure!
Sun, surf, relaxation, a bit of body surfing and playing with the kids in the waves - what a life. It is just a pity that the big money is in the cities inland, otherwise I would relocate in a flash.
Until I can figure out how to affect that change, I’ll keep saving up for my next holiday!
Now I just need to get around to the clinic for another blood pressure checkup. The relaxation has definitely helped, but I don’t think that all the food that I ate would have helped so it will be interesting to see the overall effect of the holiday on my blood pressure.
